The Science and Engineering Business Fair closes its eighteenth edition with record participation
More than 1,200 students from the faculties of Biology, Earth Sciences, Pharmacy and Food Sciences, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science and Chemistry took part in the eighteenth edition of the Science and Engineering Business Fair (FdE) on 17 April.
Universo Sostenible. What is persistent COVID?
Anyone who contracts COVID-19 is susceptible to developing persistent COVID-19, although no relationship has been found between the severity of the initial infection and the likelihood of developing a subsequent condition. The WHO estimates that 10-20% of people with COVID-19 eventually develop “post-COVID-19”. Studies are focusing on the possible causes. Currently, there is no effective treatment, but research efforts are trying to find solutions to improve the quality of life of those affected.

Xavier Ros-Oton: the mathematics that move the world
We interview Xavier Ros-Oton, mathematician at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the UB and ICREA researcher. Among other prizes, he has been awarded the María Andresa Casamayor National Youth Research Award.
