Pla d'acció tutotial

In the European Higher Education Area, tutorship is recognized as part of the task of teaching.

As tutors, lecturers at UB schools and faculties are responsible for transmitting knowledge and providing personalized assistance to students so that they can adapt to university life, benefit from the university’s resources, improve their academic performance, select the most appropriate subjects and prepare for entry into the labour market.

Tutors contribute to a well-rounded education by encouraging the intellectual, emotional, personal and social development of students. They also help students to consider and review their academic, professional and personal ambitions.

The work of tutors helps students to make good use of their period of training. Students are given personalized attention that is adapted to their circumstances, needs and characteristics and enables them to lay the foundations of their learning over time.
