Bachelor's degrees
-
The degree courses are designed according to the directives set by the European Higher Education Area and they lead to an official university qualification, in most cases for a total of 180 or 240 European credits. The student who successfully completes one of these courses will be considered to have acquired a general knowledge base of a given study area, an understanding of specific aspects of this knowledge base as related to professional practice and, finally, a series of cross-disciplinary skills and competences from that area to others; in short, the knowledge and know-how he or she will need to enter a profession in the labour market.
When you choose what to study, you'll see that the new degrees have been grouped in five different areas, referred to as branches of knowledge:
- Arts and Humanities
- Sciences
- Health Sciences
- Social Sciences and Law
- Engineering and Architecture
