Objectives and competences

Since the advent of digital photography, night photography has been a major focus for nature photographers. The ability of sensors to see beyond our own system of vision has allowed us to explore the graphic power of the night from a photographic point of view: the starry sky, the Milky Way, circumpolar or circumequatorial stars, combined with the nocturnal landscape, have unlocked a range of aesthetic possibilities that we had never dreamed we could capture when cameras still required rolls of film.
