The postgraduate diploma in Bookselling offers training in the legal, administrative and accounting aspects of bookselling, the technical aspects of print and digital publishing, distribution and business strategies, stock management, customer service, and bibliographic information tools.
The programme is aimed at anyone with a university degree or who, regardless of their initial training, has a professional interest in the field of bookselling.

Objectives and competences
Objectives
- To understand administrative and accounting issues related to the bookshop sector.
- To learn about the technological details involved in the production of printed books.
- To understand the technological aspects of the production of digital books.
- To learn about the book distribution and production chain, from conception to sale and consumption.
- To learn about the bookshop economic sector and its main elements: general bookstores, specialized bookstores, large supermarkets, neighbourhood or local bookstores, stationer's, rare book and antique bookstores and digital bookstores.
- To learn about the computer programs and systems used to manage a bookstore's stock.
- To learn about resources and tools for bibliographic information, localization and selection.
- To become familiar with the basic principles of customer care, particularly in the bookstore sector.
- To acquire the skills required to work in a team with other professionals.
- To gain the ability to develop a specific project for a bookstore, from a marketing perspective.
- In short, to acquire the knowledge and skills required to immediately join any kind of bookstore-related business.

Academic transcript and professional curriculum vitae, which must be submitted with a cover letter.
- Personal interview with all short-listed candidates.
Access requirements and conditions
