The presentation of the chocolate model of the Historic Building closes the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of UB's headquarters

Today, the chocolate model of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona was presented. It reproduces all the details of the original facade. The design is made by Christian Escribà, an internationally recognized master pastry chef. The event served as the closing ceremony of the 150th anniversary of the Historic Building, which was commemorated throughout the academic year 2022-2023.

Today, the chocolate model of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona was presented. It reproduces all the details of the original facade. The design is made by Christian Escribà, an internationally recognized master pastry chef. The event served as the closing ceremony of the 150th anniversary of the Historic Building, which was commemorated throughout the academic year 2022-2023.
The rector of the University, Joan Guàrdia, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the event: "This is how we celebrate the end of good meals”. Escribà said that, for him, "as someone from Barcelona, the University of Barcelona is a source of pride". "Since I was a child I have passed by the UB thousands of times, and I thought that someday it would be a good idea to make a chocolate-University ".
