UB researchers design a game to collect information on children and adolescents in guardianship and foster care
Parlajoc. Les cartes màgiques de lʼacolliment familiar is a game created to gather information about children and adolescents under the guardianship of the Directorate General for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA) and in foster care. It does so through gamification, a participatory and playful interview technique that allows professionals and researchers to talk to children about different fields of their lives related to the foster care process in a safe environment.
It is a resource designed for children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, and has been designed by the Research Group on Socio-educational Interventions in Childhood and Youth of the UB, led by Professor Núria Fuentes, in collaboration with researchers Gemma Crous, Judit Rabassa and Carmelita Lapadula.
