Experiences of university knowledge transfer to society
The first meeting of the UB’s TECNIO working group, promoted by the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, was held. The session brought together groups that are particularly active in knowledge transfer from the university to society. The forty or so participants were able to share experiences and generate synergies.

The session brought together groups that are particularly active in knowledge transfer from the university to society. The forty or so participants were able to share experiences and generate synergies.
Groups from the University of Barcelona participated with the TECNIO seal of the Government of Catalonia, a certificate that distinguishes entities that develop and provide technology for companies. In this way, companies can identify where they can find new technologies to develop new products and processes, either through the acquisition or exploitation of patents, the contracting of R&D&I projects or by contacting spin-offs.
