This year, the University of Barcelona offers, for the first time, the Open Days aimed at pre-university students in February. These sessions are added to the ones in April, after the Education Fair. “Over the last years, there has been a growing interest in our Open Days, which is reflected in the increase in enrolments; that is why we decided to open these dates in February”, says the vice-rector for Students and University Life, Marta Ferrer.

Most of the UB’s centres are organizing Open Days from 15 to 23 February, which will present more than twenty studies. “Since the number of students that can visit the faculties during the Open Days is limited, in the last editions many people could not attend and many were on the waiting list”, says the vice-rector. “This is why this year we decided to open these dates, so that future students can visit us in February and in April”.

The Open Days allow the students to visit and meet first-hand the centres of the UB and its services, as well as the bachelor’s degrees taught at the institution. The sessions offer a general presentation of the specific faculty and bachelor’s degree, followed by a tour around the centre.
