It will also give them the chance to get to know distinguished mathematicians.

The closing ceremony and the award ceremony, to take place at 7.30 p.m., will include the participation of the Rector of the UPC, Daniel Crespo; the UB’s Vice-rector for Equal Opportunities, Inclusion and Gender, Montserrat Puig; the Secretary-general of Digital Society of the Government of Catalonia, Gina Tost; the Director-general of Knowledge Society and Transfer of the Department of Research and Universities, Laia Arnal; the Director-general of the Department of Business and Employment, Liliana Arroyo; the Deputy director general for Curricular Planning at the Department of Education, Rita Ossó; the President of the Catalan Mathematical Society, Monsterrat Alsina; the Dean of the UPC’s Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, Jordi Guàrdia; the Dean of the UAB’s Faculty of Sciences, Juan Jesús Donaire, and the Director of the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, Jordi Mas.
