The UB hosts a meeting to promote the gaining of digital skills among the university community
The University of Barcelona is coordinating an interuniversity project to promote actions that enable the university community (teaching and research staff, administration and services staff, and students) to acquire digital skills. The aim is to improve knowledge in key critical areas such as cybersecurity, professional social networks, usability of digital resources and online teaching, among others. The project, which has a budget of €1.2 million, is part of the UniDigital Plan and is funded by the Next Generation EU framework programme.

In total, more than forty university representatives attended, who evaluated the progress of the project and established the next steps until the conclusion of the actions, which is estimated towards the end of March 2024. On behalf of the UB, the vice-rector for Digital Transformation, Xavier Triadó, and the vice-manager for Digital Transformation and Data of the UB, Marga Bonmatí, were present.
