Jan Butí, a student of the dual degree in Law and Political Science and Administration at the University of Barcelona, is the first president of the Student Council of the European university CHARM-EU. This body, recently created during the CHARM-EU’s annual conference in Würzburg (Germany), aims to give a voice to the student body of all the universities that make up CHARM-EU and to provide it with the student vision.

Jan Butí, a student of the dual degree in Law and Political Science and Administration at the University of Barcelona, is the first president of the Student Council of the European university CHARM-EU. This body, recently created during the CHARM-EU’s annual conference in Würzburg (Germany), aims to give a voice to the student body of all the universities that make up CHARM-EU and to provide it with the student vision.
The Student Council consists of eleven members. Each of the nine universities that make up the CHARM-EU Alliance elects one student and there are also two students from the CHARM-EU master’s degree in Global Challenges for Sustainability. The Council is the highest student representative body of the Alliance, representing the approximately its 280,000 students.
Jan Butí explains that "the will of the students is to be present in all the decision-making bodies of CHARM-EU" “We want to give informative talks to all the universities —he says— and raise awareness of this alliance and the academic opportunities it offers, as well as to create a welcome guide for all new students entering the master's degree".
Jan Butí was an ambassador for the UB in the UNICAT Project to promote and disseminate the internships and professional opportunities offered by the European Union.
