"It’s Just Begun": creation, transmission and social transformation in urban dances

The University of Barcelona brings the Dance Cycle, which reaches its 13th edition, wit three sessions of urban dance. 

In the second session, "It's Just Begun!", Guille Vidal-Ribas and Javi Casado, dancers and authors of the show Transmissions, move around different styles and the eclosion of the culture of hip-hop of the 70s and the 80s. They will analyze creative processes such as rap battles. The audience will see how dance promotes a critical awareness (on class, on gender...) and promotes the identity-building through playful dynamics and socialization. 

Attendance is free but there is limited room capacity.
