The second UB’s Doctoral Research and Dissemination conference increases the number of participants

The conference, which has managed to exceed last year’s figures, is a meeting space for doctoral students from a wide range of disciplines, providing them with the tools to transmit their research in scientific forums and to society in general. It also offers them the possibility of creating new professional relationships. 

The programme of the conference, organized by the UB’s Doctoral Student Representation Council, included a lecture by Emma Rodero, an expert in communication, voice and public speaking, to provide tools that enable researchers to disseminate their research effectively. At the end of the meeting, three prizes were awarded to the best posters, which were won by Anna Sampietro, Constantino Andrés and Alejandra Linares, and the Victoriano Pineda Prize for the best monologue was awarded to Maria Orriols.

“At the Council, we work together with the UB Doctoral School (EDUB) and the Rector’s Office to choose from many initiatives and improve the day-to-day life of doctoral students. In the case of the Research and Dissemination Day, we decided to repeat it again to consolidate the meeting, which was so well received last year”, says Gerard Esteruelas, president of the board of the UB Doctoral Students’ Representative Council.
