Are you a PhD student? Explain your thesis in 4 minutes!

The University of Barcelona is taking part in a new edition of the competition “Present your thesis in 4 minutes”, in which doctoral students from any scientific discipline are challenged to explain their research in a maximum of four minutes, in simple language that is easily understandable to a general audience.

The Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI) will award prizes of €3,000, €2,000 and €1,000 to the three winning proposals. The competition rules state that the period for candidates to publish their video and fill in the registration form with their proposal and personal details ends on 14 April 2024 at 23:59.

The UB's internal face-to-face final will take place on 6 May 2024, at 10:00, in the Jane Addams room of the UB's Faculty of Geography and History. The interuniversity final, with all the winning proposals from the participating universities, will be held on 27 June 2024 at the CaixaForum in Tarragona.
