New edition of the Course on science illustration: birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish
16/04/24 - 30/04/24
Research : Divulgation

Do you know how to draw the feathers, wings and flight of birds? How do you apply the pencil and gouache technique in the world of ornithology and reptiles? How do you work with colour in naturalistic drawing? The aim of the new course offered by the UB's Animal Biodiversity Resource Centre (CRBA) is to discover the world of naturalistic and scientific illustration of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. It also offers the basic and main techniques of drawing through guided practice.

The course is aimed at anyone with an interest in the world of scientific illustration, a discipline that brings scientific knowledge closer to society and helps to understand research and the world of nature.

The course includes theoretical and practical content and outings for students to put into practice and apply all the techniques studied. It will be taught by Blanca Martí de Ahumada, professional illustrator and coordinator of the master's degree in Scientific Illustration of Natural Sciences at the UdG Foundation.

The deadline for enrolment is 16 April.
