Extraordinary Senate session: Wednesday 20 March

The meeting will be held at 15:30 on first call and at 16:00 on second call. The two items on the agenda will be:

• Impact of the LOSU on the University of Barcelona: statute, university community and funding
• Approval, when appropriate, of the proposed procedure for drawing up the new UB statute.​​​​​​​

The University Senate is the highest representative body of the university community. It is responsible for drawing up, modifying and, where appropriate, deploying the Statute; controlling the management of the University's offices and governing bodies; approving the general lines of action of the University and, in extraordinary circumstances, calling elections for rector.
