Hosted by Julius-Maximilians Universität Würzburg, the conference will connect European university alliances with business and industry partners, and local and regional governments. Erasmus+ representatives, higher education institutions and alliances from across the European Union will meet with existing and potential partners to shape the future of research and collaboration.

The aim of this year’s conference is to bring together local and regional stakeholders form industry, business, government, and NGOs to discuss their collaboration with EU university alliances.

Registration for the conference is open and free. The hybrid sessions will also include real-time captioning.

CHARM-EU is an alliance of nine European universities that work to create the university of the future and reconcile humanity with the planet. In its third edition, the master’s degree in Global Challenges for Sustainability brings students, academics, and industry together to address the challenges of the 21st century. As well as the educational output, the Alliance is also working on innovative research projects and methodologies. These projects focus on engaging non-academic actors, developing a common R&I agenda, and mainstreaming open science. CHARM-EU education and research approaches embrace transdisciplinarity, equality, and innovation to foster excellence, quality, and competitiveness within the European Universities initiative.
