Carla Marín, researcher at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the UB and lecturer at the Faculty of Physics of the UB, has been awarded as top young researcher in Experimental Physics at the Royal Spanish Society of Physics and BBVA Foundation Awards. The jury recognizes her contributions both in data analysis and in the technologies used to improve the LHCb experiment.

Carla Marín, researcher at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the UB and lecturer at the Faculty of Physics of the UB, has been awarded as top young researcher in Experimental Physics at the Royal Spanish Society of Physics and BBVA Foundation Awards. The jury recognizes her contributions both in data analysis and in the technologies used to improve the LHCb experiment.
Their contributions have been fundamental to the development of the rare bayron decay program, providing complementary sensitivity to potential new physics effects and to the development of new instruments.
