33rd Cycle of Music at the University: Christmas Concert (December 18 and 19)

The Christmas Concert of the UB as part of the 33rd Cycle of Music at the University, organized by the Vice-rector's Office of Arts, Culture and Heritage will take place on December 18 and 19 and is open to the general public. The concert will start at 8 p.m. in the Paranimph of the Historical Building.

Tickets are free but there is limited capacity. Tickets (two per person) can be obtained through the website of Cultura de la UB from Monday December 16 on, or in person on Tuesday (week of the concert), from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Unit of Institutional Relations and Protocol (Historical Building of the UB, first floor, Paranimph Gallery), until capacity of the room is full. The doors of the Paranimph will open at 7.30 p.m. and tickets are not numbered.

This year, the program offers a diverse repertoire which includes Czardas, a selection from The Nutcracker, the opening from Prince Igor, a collection of English Christmas carols, the suite from the film The Polar Express and Christmas Medley, in a concert to be conducted by Carles Gumí and performed by the Orchestra of the University of Barcelona. 

The general rehearsal is open to the general public and will take place on December 16 at the same time and place of the concerts.
