Exhibition: “Les textures de les roques”
Exhibition to show the geological variety in Catalonia with several representative rocks. It includes introductory content of geology such as the cycle of rocks, compounds, characterization of textures through petrographic telescope and geological contextualization of the rocks.
The opening will take place on Tuesday, January 21, at 6 p.m. Among the attendants will be Salvador García, vice-rector for Arts, Culture and Heritage; Jaume Massó, director of the Cartography Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) of the Catalan Government, and Albert Soler, dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences. The coordinator of the exhibition, Miquel Vilà, from ICGC, will present the content of the exhibition and a guided tour will follow afterwards.
There will be guided tours on January 23 and 30, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and January 28 and February 4, from 1 noon to 2 p.m.
