Celebration of International Roma Day

Eight April is International Roma Day, remembering the Roma victims who were killed during the Second World War. To commemorate this day, the non-profit association CampusRom - Romani University Network, made up, among others, of UB students and teaching staff, is organizing the session "The University is also Roma".

The event will be held on Friday 5 April, from 4.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., in the Jane Adams room of the Faculty of Geography and History.

The event will consist of a main lecture on the history and culture of the Roma people, followed by a round table discussion with Roma students from the UB. See the full programme of the event.
