Barcelona Pensa 2021
On the occasion of the UNESCO World Philosophy Day, the third Thursday of November, the eight edition of the Barcelona Pensa festival arrives. Organized by the Faculty of Philosophy since 2014, which aims to disseminate philosophy in a broad sense: take it outside the academia and bring it to the larger audience.
The event counts on the participation of teaching staff and students of the Faculty of Philosophy, and other centres, as well as entities and people linked to thought. This is why the activities take many shapes, innovative and not very conventional, but committed to the challenges of contemporary societies. Exhibitions, film screenings, book presentations, conferences, theatre plays, concerts, cineforums, and activities for families, children and teenagers, for instance.
