Event: “Barcelona, refuge city and university”
The activity will present and screen the documentary Universitat refugi, which compiles the promotion and support actions the UB and the Barcelona City Council carry out to ease access to higher education for the refugees. There will be a concert called Música per la vida i la dignitat, by Orpheus XXI, an intercultural project led by Jordi Savall.
This event will be presided by the rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Elias. Among participants will be the mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau; the soloist, pedagogue and researcher Jordi Savall, appointed ambassador of EU for Intercultural Dialogue, and Pau Faus, director of the shortfilm and documentary Universitat refugi.
