According to the resolution of the public tender organised by the Department of Justice of the Government of Catalonia, the Dental Hospital of the UB, which is part of the Josep Finestres Foundation, will provide medical care for the following prisons: Homes de Barcelona, Dones de Barcelona (Wad-Ras), Brians I, Brians II and Ponent.

According to the resolution of the public tender organised by the Department of Justice of the Government of Catalonia, the Dental Hospital of the UB, which is part of the Josep Finestres Foundation, will provide medical care for the following prisons: Homes de Barcelona, Dones de Barcelona (Wad-Ras), Brians I, Brians II and Ponent.

To provide these services, the Dental Hospital of the UB will send one professional to each prison. This person will offer all the knowledge and resources, together with rigour, systematics, methodology and protocols, of a university hospital, bearing in mind the philosophy derived from its mission, view and values.
The Dental Hospital of the UB, which aims at being a reference in dental health, has the necessary abilities and knowledge to provide an appropriate treatment to the patients cared. Its experience in looking after patients with all kind of pathologies and its high level of specialization ensures the correct caring of inmates.
