The "Pacte per a la indústria a Catalunya" is signed at the UB
The Historic Building of the University of Barcelona hosted today, Monday 3rd December, in an event chaired by the acting rector, Dr Dídac Ramírez, the signature of the Pacte per a la indústria a Catalunya (Pact for the industry in Catalonia), an agreement reached by professional associations, the UB and other universitie, technological centres, business organizations and the trade unions CCOO and UGT.

The pact is based on the principle that “modern industry, trained, innovative, respectful and committed to efficiency, excellence, work quality, and society, sustainable from an economic, environmental and social point of view, and with a higher level of cohesion among the parties concerned, is the most feasible way to revert the situation of unemployment and decrease in economic activity”.
