Mayor Ada Colau will give the fifth annual speech for the Pasqual Maragall Chair
The Mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, will give the fifth annual Pasqual Maragall conference in UB on Tuesday 12th April. The event, which will take place in Aula Magna (Historic Building) at 19h, will include the participation of Professor Germà Biel, the director of the Chair, and the Dean of the University of Barcelona, Dídac Ramírez. Ada Colau has named her speech “El Projecte de Barcelona: Present i Futur”.

The Pasqual Maragall Chair tries to promote and encourage high quality research in Applied Economics and Public Policy, focusing on the public policy analysis and evaluation fields and areas in which governments and markets interact. Despite its Economics Science roots, the Chair has also a multidisciplinary vocation and it aims to promote research in different fields related to the study of government intervention. The Chair is established in the University of Barcelona and linked to the Research Group on Governments and Markets (GiM).
