Kymos launches an innovative R&D division in Biotechnology at the Barcelona Science Park
Kymos Pharma Services, a company providing scientific and technical services, has opened a new laboratory of immunology at the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), which has been successfully audited for good laboratory practice (GLP) compliance by health authorities. Kymos currently has three other lab facilities at the PCB in the field of bioanalysis and analytical development and quality control. This project has been made possible thanks to a collaboration agreement between Kymos and Ipsen, the biotech multinational company, signed in December 2011. As a result of this agreement, Kymos took on a team of scientists, equipment and know-how from the former R&D site of the multinational in Spain.
