Last days to take part in the Solidary Basket
Like every year, with the arrival of the holiday season the University of Barcelona organizes the Solidary Basket to call for the university community's support for a social cause. This year, the raised funds will be sent to the Petit UBinding project, coordinated by the Josep Finestres Foundation and the Psychological Clinic of the UB, which helps to overcome learning difficulties at an early age.
There are four baskets to win (Galet, Tió, Neula and Pessebre), all filled with many prizes that include, for instance, Iberian ham, tickets to attend cultural events, free entrance to museums, book sets, theatre and music tickets, distinguished wines, traditional Christmas sweets, and many other things.
All the members of the UB community can buy as many tickets as they want (€2 each) until December 16. The lucky draw will take place on December 17 and the prizes will be given to the winners.
