The UB, co-organizer of the 11th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry
To mark the ongoing celebration of the International Year of Chemistry, the University of Barcelona has contributed to the organization of the 11th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry (ISABC11), overseen by the Department of Chemistry of the Autonomous University of Barcelona under the direction of Dr. Mercè Capdevila. The symposium, to be held on 2-5 December at Casa Convalescència in Barcelona (Sant Antoni Maria Claret, 171), aims to stimulate and propel innovative research in the field of applied bioinorganic chemistry and has been designed to encourage scientific discussion and personal interaction among participants. The opening ceremony will be held on Saturday 3 December at 9 a.m., featuring an address by Dr. Sílvia Atrian, vice-rector for innovation and knowledge transfer of the UB and a member of the ISABC11 organizing committee.
