On Saturday 28 June, at 11 a.m., Barcelona Roca Gallery hosts the children performance Pintaʼm un conte (Paint me a story): "Més enllà dels núvols". The main objective of the activity is to raise children's environmental awareness. Children will get familiar with extreme weather thanks a narrator, who gives voice to characters, and an illustrator who draws the story. Children will know the adventures of a drop of water, Drop, who explains to her granddaughters, Mist and Drizzle, that many years ago she was part of an inundation and she travelled to unsuspected sites, mountains, rivers and swaps, until she arrived to the sea, she evaporated and she came back to clouds.

The activity is part of the project La ciència de lʼaigua, of La UB Divulga, co-organised by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+I) of UB and Roca. The main objective of the project is to make a transversal and multidisciplinary analysis of water. The series has included lectures given by experts from the University of Barcelona, workshops and guided tours.

The project Pintaʼm un conte was set up in 2011 with the aim of bringing science closer to kids. "Més enllà dels núvols" is one of the three stories that compose this project of La UB Divulga, coordinated by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) and funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) - Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. To date, hundreds of children have already got familiar with extreme weather, known posidonia meadows and discovered the secrets of the formation of the Montserrat Mountain.

Entrance is free but registration is required.
