Objectives and competences
This course of introduction to population pharmacokinetics studeis directed to both health sciences professionals and students. it has the objective to deepen the basic theoretical and practical aspects necessary to carry out population pharmacokinetics studies, initiating the knowledge of non-linear mixed effects models and in the operation of the nonmem programme and know the applicability of the population approach in the different stages of drug development and in the optimization of dosage regimes in the clinic.

Objectives
- To acquire introductory knowledge of mixed non-linear models and the NONMEM programme.
- To understand how the population-based approach applies to the different stages of drug development and to the optimization of dosage regimens in clinical practice.
