Objectives and competences
This master's degree is based on a "learning by doing" approach that aims to enable students to write compelling and well-constructed stories by encouraging and strengthening their individual creative abilities and voices. Students obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to work on fiction, documentary or entertainment audiovisual projects from a teaching staff made up of renowned scriptwriters and university experts, and through comprehensive training that allows them to embark on a successful professional career. The course is offered face-to-face and online.

Objectives and competences
Objectives
- Upon completing the training, be fully prepared to create and work on audiovisual projects related to fiction, documentaries or entertainment programmes.
- From an approach that covers all kinds of audiovisual discourses, based on the methodology of 'learning by doing' or, in this specific case, writing, to gain a multi-faceted profile that goes beyond cinema.
- To gain essential theoretical knowledge and practical experience in writing, analysing and re-writing scripts as an essential way to attain excellence, as in the professional world.
- At all times, students can rely on the guidance, supervision and support of teaching staff, made up of recognised scriptwriters and university lecturers specialised in the audiovisual field.

Recommended applicant profile
- First, students of the bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism from the University of Lleida and the bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Barcelona.- Graduates with qualifications in areas of communication, languages and humanities, fine arts and philology, and other studies relating to audiovisual and literary creation who wish to work in the audiovisual world.
Access requirements and conditions
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.Pre-enrolment
