Objectives and competences
Objectives
- Train professionals to achieve the objectives of social gerontology, that is, to guarantee a physical, psychic and social wellbeing for the elderly.
Specific objectives:
- Learn the knowledge and skills required in various professional or business sectors involved in the provision of services and care for elderly people.
- Understand and be able to respond to the demands of the sector and the different personal circumstances of elderly people and their families, to provide better services.
