Objectives and competences

Training and the expansion of digital skills in the professional fields of education, communication and design to increase digital accessibility are considered a priority to include people from all social spheres. The master's degree course is strongly theoretical and practical in nature so that students graduate with the profile of a producer based on universal design, WCAG-W3C accessibility criteria and current regulations in the European framework.

Objectives

- To know and know how to apply the concepts of universal design and the principles of digital accessibility (communicative and formative inclusion) as a variable in the production of digital materials.
- To receive recommendations and understand what constitute good practices for the construction of accessible digital materials.
- To be capable of assessing whether existing digital materials created can be perceived and understood by most people.

Recommended applicant profile

- Professionals in the fields of education, communication and design.
- Teachers, educators and producers (visual, graphic, multimedia, journalists, social communicators) as well as creators of relevant digital resources without a university degree.

Access for students not in possession of a university degree: Students without a university degree can acquire the same skills and knowledge that form the basis of this course and choose to receive a special certification. Please consult the course coordinator to find out more about access requirements and conditions.
