Objectives and competences
This course includes a theoretical part, with classes delivered by specialists in each of the subjects included in the programme, plus a practical part, carried out mainly at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (outpatient area, diabetes day hospital, 9th inpatient floor) and completed with a one-month stay at the adult endocrinology unit of the Hospital Clínic. The course also offers training in research through the completion of a paper or thesis or the preparation and presentation of an original work within the framework of a conference in the speciality, which may form the basis of a future thesis to obtain a doctoral degree.

Objectives
- To receive theoretical-practical training, with the option to follow one of the sub- lines of research in the endocrinology section, or of the lines in oncological endocrinology and clinical diabetes.
