Objectives and competences

The AISA is an inter-university postgraduate course offered together with the Autonomous University of Barcelona, which provides knowledge, techniques and instruments for the evaluation of urban environments and the design of socio-environmental intervention programs. The course addresses issues including urban planning and urban metabolism, mobility, urban ecology, environmental communication and education, citizen participation from a people-centred perspective.

- Professionals or graduates interested in issues related to the environment, sustainability or land planning.
- Professionals involved in environmental and social projects, in areas as various as town planning and urban environmental management.
- Holders of degrees in any discipline; mainly in social science (psychology, sociology, anthropology, geography, education), architecture, philosophy, law, economy, biology, the environment, chemistry, geology or engineering.
