Objectives and competences
This course is aimed at the use of GIS for the assessment of exposure in research on environmental health. Through an online practical and intensive programme, participants learn to apply the most commonly used programming languages in GIS: Python and R, and to resolve exercises (with Jupyterlab notes) to develop their capacity to process and analyse GIS data, while they deepen knowledge of fundamental concepts with the help of QGIS software, standard software in open code and free. Participants are required to construct their own final research project on a chosen topic, and receive feedback for the development and improvement of the project.
