Objectives and competences
This postgraduate programme is designed to bring this emerging practice to the forefront and to provide interested professionals an in-depth understanding of blue therapies. It offers specialized modules in blue therapies, thalassotherapy, sea sports and the promotion of personal well-being. The programme integrates seawater into psychological well-being in a wide range of professional sectors, using a trans-disciplinary approach to investigate the deep connection between maritime practices, mental well-being and the use of the sea in various treatments. It is a unique opportunity to gain advanced training in this field.

- Psychology and mental health professionals, educators and environmental education professionals, sport and physical activity professionals, tourism and maritime leisure professionals, nutritionists and dietetic experts, health and fitness professionals, marine science students and researchers- The possibility of entering is also foreseen for non-degreed students who, due to their professional or personal background, are considered to be in a position to follow the course. In this case, the degree that these students opt for is a degree of university extension.
Access requirements and conditions
