Objectives and competences

This master's degree is intended for postgraduate students and professionals who wish to pursue a career in the healthcare sector. The programme provides a global, inter- and transdisciplinary perspective, addressing the health problems of the most vulnerable populations in our world. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to address today's global health challenges, become prepared to join international organizations working for health equity around the world and developing and implementing sustainable solutions.

- To analyse the factors that have a bearing on global health.
- To understand the complex relations between health and other disciplines such as economics, political sciences, anthropology, epidemiology and environmental sciences.
- To know how to develop effective and sustainable solutions that contribute to improving health in a globalized world.

Recommended applicant profile

- Graduates in health sciences, social sciences and other related disciplines (life sciences, economics, sociology, anthropology, etc.) with an interest in a multidisciplinary global approach to the major challenges of world health that affect vulnerable populations.
- Health professionals and other professionals in related disciplines.
- Employees of NGOs, foundations, public-private partnerships and aid agencies.
- Civil servants and academics wishing to broaden their knowledge of global health.

Access requirements:
-University degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
-Students must have a good level of English, as all teaching is conducted in this language. If English is not their native language, evidence of an appropriate level must be provided by submitting the corresponding certificate or through an interview held during the selection process.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
