Objectives and competences

The generation of waste poses great environmental and economic challenges but, at the same time, it represents an opportunity if waste is conceived as a resource: a secondary raw material with economic value that brings new economic benefits. To make this leap in added value, the sector requires professionals who master waste treatment and management techniques, but who also know the market and the possibilities of valorizing this resource. In this context, this postgraduate course was developed in response to the needs of professionals in the sector.
