Objectives and competences
This course trains students to diagnose and treat patients in oral surgery and implantology, regardless of the complexity of the procedure. Students practise complex oral surgery (impacted teeth, bone pathology and periodontal surgery, among others) and advanced implantological treatments (guided surgery, split crest, bone regeneration, bone grafts, maxillary sinus surgery and pterygoid implants, among other procedures). Students also have the opportunity to practise these procedures on a cryopreserved head.
