Objectives and competences

The master's degree is aimed at graduates in dentistry who wish to specialize in oral surgery, following the training specified in the Community regulations (CEE 678078, III/D/114/4/82 and III/D /1374/3/84, Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, of September 7, 2005), which requires three years of training. Therefore, once the master's degree has been completed, it will be possible to access the master's degree in Advanced Oral Surgery and Implantology.

Objectives

- To acquire specialist training in oral surgery in accordance with community regulations (EEC 678078, III/D/114/4/82 and III/D/1374/3/84 Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005).
- To acquire specialist training in basic oral surgery techniques and the fitting of endosseous implants and the preparation and fitting of implant-supported prostheses.
- Acquire training in periodontal pathology and surgery, laser surgery, oral pathology and the pathology of the temporomandibular joint and orofacial pain.

- Graduates in dentistry.
- Graduates in medicine and surgery, specializing in stomatology.

Access requirements: candidates must submit a full curriculum vitae, attend a personal interview, and complete a theory test (20 short-answer questions).
