Objectives and competences

Objectives

- Acquire expert training in the prevention of behavioural addictions and psychological manipulation in childhood and adolescence. Specific objectives:
- Comprehensively understand behavioural addictions and psychological manipulation.
- Master the vocabulary used by affected persons, according to the typologies.
- Know the strategies required to apply intervention programmes with psychological counselling, in the case of professionals with a profile oriented to prevention and education.
- Monitor and assess interventions performed by psychologists.
- Provide guidance to families and other professionals.
-To design and implement prevention measures.

Recommended applicant profile

Graduates in social-educational and social-healthcare disciplines; in particular, graduates in psychology, educational psychology, education, teaching, social education, sociology, social work, anthropology, occupational therapy, nursing and medicine (family medicine, pediatrics and psychiatry).

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
