Objectives and competences

This postgraduate course addresses the process of developing pharmaceutical and biotechnological products and the challenges and problems involved in it. Technology, along with the application of new commercial structures and financing methods, is coming together to facilitate drug discovery, clinical development and greater patient access to new therapies.

Objectives and competences


- To learn how areas of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry function, which facilitates the acquisition of skills required to work in the sector.
- To achieve this, the course examines principles of discovery and development of drugs and biotechnological products, applications in the context of translational medicine and regulatory control.
