Objectives and competences

In the complex world of insurance, fraud represents a significant business and legal challenge for both companies and consumers, as well as for the economic system as a whole. Detecting and preventing fraud is critical to maintaining the sustainability of the industry and protecting the financial resources of insurers and policyholders. This course is an essential tool for different types of professionals, practising or in training, who want to understand, address and combat this growing problem from the different criminal sciences that concur in the explanation, prevention and investigation of the phenomenon.

Objectives

To receive specialized training in the investigation of insurance fraud from the perspective of criminal sciences in a broad sense and, specifically, from the perspective of criminology and the methodology of private investigation. Training students to comprehensively take on insurance fraud investigations

- Graduate students in private investigation, criminology and law.
- Detectives, criminologists, lawyers, insurance sector professionals, members of security forces and corps. -Professionals in the private security sector.

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
