This expert course, in addition to an in-depth analysis of the national and international legal regulations on document and technological counterfeiting, provides the specialist assessor the training necessary to detect counterfeit security documents of any type and to verify whether products protected by patents or registered trademarks are authentic or counterfeit through the study and evaluation of
specific cases.
This expert degree, in addition to offering potential career opportunities as an assessor for the Department of Justice, is especially valuable for those involved in private security and investigation.

To acquire the training to practice as an expert in forensic document examination and to examine the current techniques used for the detection of counterfeit and forgery in documents and in commercial products carrying patents or registered trademarks.

- Private security managers and directors.
- Civil servants and contract staff in police and security forces.
- People interested in this professional area who want to gain specific knowledge on document examination and expert evidence in crimes against industrial and intellectual property.

Access requirements and conditions
