Objectives and competences

This is the 26th edition of this advanced course organized by the Faculty of Law. It aims to provide training for private security managers that will allow them to meet current needs in this professional sector. The objective of the course is for participants to acquire specialized training in the senior management of private security enterprises, given the current need for university-trained professionals in this field. The course provides specific, technical training on security strategies and plans along with a practical activity related to managerial tasks and company and department administration, which enables students to obtain the professional ID card (TIP) required in the security industry.

Recommended applicant profile

University degree holders and people with experience in this professional area who are interested in gaining advanced training in the management of private security and the management of security companies.

Students who successfully complete the course receive the official qualification of Security Director from the Ministry of Home Affairs (resolution 1 February 2011).

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
