Objectives and competences

The main objective of the programme is to provide an up-to-date overview of health sciences education and educational research in order to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary for the design and development of training programmes in all areas and dimensions, guided by methodological rigour, reflection and orientation towards self-improvement that transforms the participant into an agent of change, production and educational innovation in their institution.

Gain the competences required to carry out the teaching functions of design and planning, simulation, digital learning, assessment of learning and competences, and the principles of education research.

Recommended applicant profile

- Graduates in the health sciences (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, podiatry, psychology, physiotherapy, bioengineering, nutrition, etc.).
- Other professionals involved in teaching the health sciences who do not have a university degree (emergency technicians, nursing assistants, etc.).

Access requirements and conditions

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
