Objectives and competences
Objectives
To gain the training needed to prevent, manage, respond to and control the most frequent problems in infectious and tropical diseases that occur in the bioregions of South America.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Acquire basic knowledge of the most prevalent diseases in South America related to tropical and subtropical pathology, for their diagnosis, management and treatment.
- Acquire the basic knowledge needed to prevent, prepare and control the primary syndromes and infectious diseases found in South America.
- To understand aspects of epidemiology, public health and health management in order to participate in healthcare interventions and research projects in the intertropical zone.
